Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, offering expert advice on hair care, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional recommendations
• Use salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management
• Assist at the front desk as needed, providing excellent customer service and managing client inquiries
• Optional / offer nail care services as an added benefit to clients when applicable
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results in hair coloring
• Promote hair extensions and upsell additional services or products to enhance client experience

Experience

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon environment is preferred
• Familiarity with salon software systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in the beauty industry is essential
• Experience in nail care and hair extensions is an advantage but not mandatory
• A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on the latest trends and techniques
