The Rowdy Collective is a boutique, community-driven salon seeking a confident, motivated hairstylist to join our growing team.

We are a small, high-standard, brand-forward space that values artistry, professionalism, and an exceptional client experience. We specialize in lived-in color, dimensional blonding, modern haircuts, extensions and elevated yet welcoming service.

This role is ideal for a stylist with 1–3+ years behind the chair who is comfortable working independently, excited to grow their book, and aligned with a collaborative, creative salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts and color services confidently and independently
• Deliver a high-level guest experience from consultation to finish
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication
• Contribute to a clean, organized, elevated salon space
• Participate in content creation and brand presence
• Collaborate within a small, team-focused environment

Qualifications

• Active NJ Cosmetology License
• 1–3+ years behind the chair
• Confident in cutting and color formulation
