Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional recommendations based on color theory and current trends.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by building rapport with clients and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Assist with retail sales by promoting products that complement services provided and upselling when appropriate.
• Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing knowledge of techniques and best practices within the salon environment.
• Perform front desk duties as needed, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing appointment bookings.

Experience

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Proven experience in hair styling within a salon setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Experience in retail sales and an understanding of retail math will be beneficial for product promotions.
