Duties

• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and special occasion styles
• Execute precise barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves, fades, and beard grooming
• Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions to enhance client looks
• Consult with clients to determine their desired styles and recommend suitable treatments based on hair type and preferences
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following health regulations
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales
• Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail items, and upselling opportunities to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue

Experience

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles
• Knowledge of color theory for flawless coloring techniques and corrective color services
• Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY for efficient appointment booking and client management
• Skilled in hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and retail sales techniques
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs effectively
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment
• Commitment to sanitation standards and ongoing professional development in cosmetology or barbering certifications
