Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling
• Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
• Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing retail sales
• Mentor junior stylists or assistants by sharing expertise in hair techniques and customer service practices
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and color theory to provide informed recommendations to clients
• Utilize skills to manage inventory effectively and promote product sales
• Actively promote salon on social media campaigns through providing content

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including but not limited to cutting, coloring, and special occasion
• Familiarity with salon software systems is preferred
• Strong understanding of color theory and its application in hair services
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
• Previous experience in mentoring or training is an advantage but not required
• A valid cosmetology license is essential
