Do you love helping people look and feel their best? We are looking for a caring, friendly and dependable Hairdresser to provide hair care services to our residents in our Assisted Living Facility.McHarrie Life is a not-for-profit organization providing programs and services for senior adults. Its campus offers a continuum of care, from independent and assisted living to rehabilitation and skilled nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide haircuts, hairstyling, and other salon services as requested.
- Create a comfortable, enjoyable, and respectful experience for each resident.
- Demonstrate patience, kindness and compassion when working with older adults.
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work area.
- Schedule appointments and manage resident requests.
Skills
- Current cosmetology license, as required by state regulations.
- Previous hairstyling experience; experience with geriatric population preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A caring, patient and professional attitude.
- Ability to work respectfully with older adults and accommodate their individual needs.
