Part-Time Stylist / Barber at Sharkey's Cuts for Kids

At Sharkey's Cuts for Kids in Amherst, we've created a salon where kids love getting their hair cut, parents appreciate great service, and stylists can enjoy coming to work. We're looking for a talented, friendly, and dependable part-time Stylist/Barber who takes pride in their work, enjoys interacting with families, and wants to earn great money in a positive, team-oriented environment.

One of the best parts of working at Sharkey's? The earning potential. Our stylists average $20+ per hour in tips alone, on top of their hourly pay. If you enjoy staying busy, connecting with people, and doing great work, this could be a great fit.

You don't need to be a kids' haircut specialist to join our team. We welcome stylists who are ready to put their skills to work and create a great experience for every family.

What You'll Do

• Provide quality haircuts and styling services for children
• Create a comfortable, positive experience for kids and parents
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service that keeps families coming back
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep the salon running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Valid New York State Cosmetology or Barber license required
• Experience cutting children's hair is preferred, but not required
• Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with children
• Strong haircutting skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
