• Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling tips to enhance client satisfaction.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing wait times, and handling client communication professionally.
• Upsell retail products like hair care items and accessories to boost sales while ensuring clients find the best solutions for their needs.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive salon atmosphere focused on client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry.
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, hair coloring, extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and store management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their desired outcomes.
• Experience with sanitation practices, store management, retail math, upselling strategies, and customer service excellence.
• Ability to perform specialized services including hair threading and makeup application when needed.
