Responsibilities

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling tailored to client preferences.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as hair extensions and hair threading to meet diverse client needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and products are sanitized.
• Engage with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide professional recommendations.
• Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client records through MINDBODY software.
• Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on best practices in hair care and customer service.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings.
• Promote retail products effectively, utilizing knowledge of retail math to maximize sales.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is a plus.
• Strong mentoring abilities to guide less experienced staff members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to ongoing professional development.
