Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients.

Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering professional advice on hair care and styling options.
• Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and boost sales.
• Manage appointments effectively using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software.
• Assist in front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing payments.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques through continuous education.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques is preferred.
• Knowledge of MINDBODY or similar salon management software.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on sanitation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Previous experience as a stylist, and customer service preferred.
• Must be able to work Saturdays
