Hair Stylist, Barber, and Nail Technician

• Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair extension services tailored to each client's preferences and hair type
• Perform barbering services including straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts with precision and care
• Deliver professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, nail art, and enhancements using sterilized tools to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Perform hair threading to enhance clients' natural beauty for special occasions or everyday looks
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in hair care, coloring techniques, and nail art to offer innovative options to clients
• Utilize salon management software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and sales tracking; upsell products and services to maximize client satisfaction and revenue
• Ensure all workstations adhere to sanitation protocols and safety regulations to provide a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide styling advice, and foster long-term relationships through excellent customer service
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling, coloring techniques, or nail care practices to promote team growth

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist, barber, or nail technician with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in styling and color application
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for managing appointments and client information
• Skilled in various hair care techniques including cutting, coloring (color theory), styling (including updos), hair extensions, and texturizing treatments
• Competent in barbering services like straight razor shaves and traditional grooming techniques
• Familiarity with sanitation standards specific to cosmetology and nail care professions to ensure health safety compliance
• Strong communication skills for engaging clients effectively while providing personalized recommendations for hair care products or additional services
• Ability to perform makeup application and hair threading as part of comprehensive beauty offerings
• Experience mentoring or training new team members is a plus; enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development is highly valued
