We are looking for a talented, professional, and customer-focused Hairstylist to join our salon team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hair, enjoys building relationships with clients, and is confident performing a variety of cutting, styling, coloring, and treatment services.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional haircuts, blowouts, styling, coloring, highlights, and other salon services.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate styles and treatments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workstation.
- Follow salon sanitation and safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Stay current with hair trends, techniques, and products.
- Recommend professional hair-care products when appropriate.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive salon environment.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or hairstyling license as required by state law.
- Previous salon experience preferred, but motivated licensed stylists are welcome to apply.
- Strong haircutting, styling, and/or color skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
