Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of color services including root touch-ups, full color, balayage, ombré, highlights, lowlights, fashion colors, and color corrections.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand client goals, recommend services, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with current hair color trends, techniques, and products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation in compliance with salon and state health standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Educate clients on at-home hair care and recommend professional products.
• Collaborate with other stylists and team members to create a cohesive, supportive salon environment.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license.
• Proven experience as a professional colorist with a strong portfolio (minimum 5 years experience as a Colorist).
• In-depth knowledge of hair color theory, chemical processes, and product lines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for continued education and keeping up with evolving trends.

Preferred

• Existing client base (not required, but a plus).
• Experience with vivid/fashion colors and advanced color correction.
• Social media savvy and comfortable promoting your work online.
