Duties

• Apply hair extensions and perform hair threading to enhance clients' appearance and confidence.
• Conduct consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable treatments or products.
• Manage retail sales by upselling hair care products, styling tools, and salon services to maximize client satisfaction and revenue.
• Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and store operations.

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques.
• Knowledge of cosmetology practices including haircutting, hair coloring, and styling with an understanding of color theory.
• Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY to streamline appointments and client communication.
• Skilled in advanced services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and providing personalized recommendations.
• Ability to mentor junior team members while fostering a positive team environment.
• Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic salon setting.
