• Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring all equipment meets health regulations.
• Provide additional beauty services such as makeup application, nail care, and hair threading to offer comprehensive salon experiences.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and answering inquiries to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Upsell retail products like hair care items, styling tools, and cosmetics to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in barbering, color application, or store management practices to foster skill development.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments to continually elevate service quality.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in professional hair styling.
• Proficiency in advanced techniques such as hair extensions, straight razor shaves, and eyelash extensions.
• Strong knowledge of color theory for customized coloring solutions.
• Experience with salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability in customer service with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Skills in retail sales math for accurate product upselling and inventory management.
