Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
• Manage appointment scheduling using POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently and accurately
• Answer phone calls with excellent etiquette, providing information and booking appointments
• Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client experience and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and ensure accurate cash handling
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including merchandising and stocking products
• Assist with product demos and educate clients on new offerings to encourage retail sales
• Support the salon team by coordinating schedules, managing client flow, and ensuring smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math for transactions
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of grocery store or retail environments is advantageous for understanding inventory management and merchandising practices
• Basic math skills for handling cash, processing payments, and balancing registers
