Located near the heart of Manhattan, owners Mark DeBolt and Ryan Trygstad bring over 35 years of industry experience together to create a haven for clients and a home for stylists.

The salon offers a full menu of professional hair services, as well as the expertise of its owners. Mark is nationally recognized as a Wella Professionals Color Ambassador, and Ryan has created a name for himself with celebrity clients like Oscar Award winner Laura Dern, Naomi Watts, and Kelly Ripa.

Responsibilities

• Understanding that you are the special person that makes the first and last impression on every salon guest's experience.
• Greeting clients and making them comfortable to change into a salon robe.
• Thanking each client for their visit while performing point of sale transactions.
• Communicating with the team to alert the hair team of their client's arrival.
• Become fluent in the booking system and easily toggle between booking appointments, managing e-mail, educating clients on retail, checking out, and rebooking appointments.
• Managing and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the day.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems strongly preferred.
• Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required.
• Understanding the importance of the best customer experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
