Lash Artist / Waxer

Duties

• Perform eyelash extension applications, including classic, volume, and hybrid styles, ensuring precision and safety.
• Conduct various waxing services such as body waxing, facial waxing, and hair removal treatments with attention to sanitation and client comfort.
• Provide consultation to clients on lash styles, waxing options, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace following health regulations and industry standards.
• Upsell retail products like lash care kits, skincare items, and waxing aftercare products to enhance client satisfaction.
• Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY to optimize client flow.
• Engage with clients through social media management to promote services, share before-and-after photos, and build lasting relationships.
• Stay current on the latest trends in lash artistry and waxing techniques through ongoing education and training.
• Assist at the front desk with guest services, check-ins, payments, and product demos to ensure a seamless client experience.

Skills

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in eyelash extensions and body waxing.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety procedures for all aesthetic treatments.
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Ability to manage appointments efficiently using salon management software like Millennium or MINDBODY.
• Familiarity with social media management for marketing purposes and client engagement.
• Knowledge of advanced aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers or botulinum toxin (Botox) is a plus but not required.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining professionalism.
• Basic understanding of hair styling, nail care, or other esthetic services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills for managing appointments, retail sales, and client records effectively.
