Responsibilities
Haircutting and Styling: Deliver exceptional haircuts, blowouts, finishing, and styling services tailored to each client's needs.
Professional Hair Coloring: Perform root touch ups, all over color, highlights, lowlights, balayage, dimensional color, blonding, and color corrections within your area of expertise.
Client Consultation: Evaluate hair condition, understand client goals, recommend appropriate services, and establish realistic expectations.
Client Retention: Build lasting relationships, encourage rebooking, and deliver consistent service that inspires client loyalty.
Retail Recommendations: Recommend professional haircare products suited to each client's hair type, scalp needs, and styling goals.
Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, techniques, product knowledge, and continuing education opportunities.
Team Collaboration: Work professionally with fellow stylists and support a positive, respectful salon culture.
Salon Standards: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow applicable sanitation and safety requirements.
Business Growth: Contribute to salon success through excellent service, client referrals, rebooking, and thoughtful retail recommendations.
Qualifications
Current, active Pennsylvania cosmetology license.
Established experience working behind the chair in a salon environment.
Strong haircutting, styling, and color formulation skills appropriate to your service offerings.
Excellent consultation, communication, and customer service abilities.
Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
Interest in continued education and expanding technical expertise.
