A Colorist at Davis Feliz Salon thrives in a fast-paced, high-end luxury salon environment, brings joy and personality to the salon, and is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of hair coloring. Colorists must be skilled in advanced coloring techniques and creative/custom application including balayage/painting, precise formulations, product knowledge, etc. Colorists provide friendly and personalized guest experiences, building strong relationships with clients. We offer ongoing education to all artists to increase skillsets and remain current on the latest trends, techniques, and styles. The team members at Davis Feliz Salon are not only technically skilled but are also motivated, team-oriented, and excited to flourish with our salon.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, professional, and friendly color services, including balayage, highlights, lowlights, root touch ups, color corrections, and custom color designs.
• Grow your client base by various means, including a professional social media page and contributing to salon marketing efforts (blog posts, editorials, etc.).
• Participate in classes and continued education opportunities within the salon.
• Competently use the online booking system to navigate bookings, schedule and track production reports.
• Assist with the flow and tidiness of the salon floor, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Maintain a valid and active CT Cosmetology/Hairdressing License, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols within the salon.

Compensation

• Commission based salary; full-time colorists generally make $115k-$135k (pre-gratuity) annually.
