Esthetician and Wax Specialist

Duties

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including body facials, full body waxing, skin bleaching and skin rejuvenation procedures such as esthetic laser treatments. Optional: dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, eyelash extensions, makeup application.
• Conduct body waxing services with precision and care to ensure client comfort and satisfaction.
• Provide hair threading services to refine eyebrows and facial hair with skillful technique.
• Utilize salon software such as Vagaro to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage treatment plans efficiently.
• Offer retail sales of skincare products and beauty tools to enhance client results and support ongoing skin health.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing equipment and adhering to health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients.
• Deliver excellent customer service by listening attentively to client needs, recommending suitable treatments, and creating a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license as required by state law.
• Valid beauty insurance.
• Be comfortable servicing all company clientele including all genders.
• Proven experience in body waxing and skincare treatments. Optional: eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin procedures, and other esthetic services.
• Knowledge of salon software such as Vagaro or similar platforms for appointment management.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients.
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean treatment area at all times.
• Ability to perform waxing hair removal or threading techniques with precision and care.
• Additional skills such as nail care, makeup application, barbering, or nail artistry are a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• Waxing: 1 year (Preferred).
• Spanish (Preferred).

License/Certification

• Cosmetology License/Esthetician License (Required)

Compensation

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
