Role Overview

The Esthetician delivers consistent, high-quality treatments while creating an elevated client experience. This role blends technical expertise with strong communication, client education, and adaptability. The ideal candidate is committed to results, professionalism and ongoing growth within a fast-paced, client-centered spa environment.

Client Experience & Consultation

• Conduct thorough skin analyses and assessments to determine appropriate treatments.
• Perform comprehensive client consultations to understand goals, concerns, and contraindications.
• Build trust through active listening, clear communication and personalized education.
• Create and support treatment plans that align with client needs and spa protocols.
• Maintain a warm, professional presence that enhances the overall client experience.

Services Performance

Perform a full range of esthetic services, including:

• Facials (custom, corrective, advanced modalities)
• Dermaplaning
• Chemical peels
• Lash lifts & tints
• Brow lamination
• Waxing (face & body)
• Hydrafacial or device-based treatments (upon certification)
• Makeup application

• Execute treatments with consistency, accuracy and adherence to timing standards.
• Recommend appropriate products, homecare routines and follow-up services.
• Maintain strict compliance with sanitation, safety and spa protocols.
• Document treatments and client notes accurately.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Esthetician License.
• 1–3 years of spa or med spa experience preferred.
• Certifications in lash lifts, brow lamination, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling and IPL a plus.
• Strong understanding of skin types, conditions and corrective treatment strategies.
• Comfort with retail recommendations and treatment planning.
