Esthetician at Bliss Nails and Spa

In this role, you will deliver expert aesthetic facial treatments, customized skincare routines, body hair removal, and lash/brow enhancements. Your expertise will help clients look and feel their best while maintaining the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and exceptional customer service. Duties

• Perform a wide range of esthetic treatments, including customized facials, deep cleansing, extractions, skin-exfoliating procedures (microdermabrasion, superficial peels), and hydrating treatments.
• Deliver professional hair removal services, including body waxing, face waxing, and threading.
• Provide high-quality lash and brow enhancements, including eyelash extensions, lash lifts, and brow shaping.
• Conduct thorough skin analyses and provide tailored home-care product recommendations to maximize client results.
• Maintain accurate client intake cards, consultation notes, and treatment histories in our spa management software.
• Uphold strict sanitation, disinfection, and infection control standards in compliance with NYS Department of State regulations and spa policies.
• Create a warm, hospitable atmosphere that promotes client retention and service add-ons.

Skills & Qualifications

• Licensure: Active New York State Appearance Enhancement Esthetics License required.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in facials, microdermabrasion, body waxing, and eyelash extension application.
• Skincare Knowledge: Solid understanding of skin anatomy, skin types, conditions, and product ingredients.
• Sanitation & Safety: Mastery of NYS infection control practices, workstation sterilization, and tool safety protocols.
• Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and tailor services to individual client goals.
• Sales Ability: Strong retail sales skills to promote home-care lines and complementary spa treatments confidently.
• Team Player: Dependable, punctual, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced spa setting.

• Microdermabrasion: 1 year (Preferred)
• Eyelash extensions: 1 year (Preferred)
• Chemical peel: 1 year (Preferred)
• Facials: 1 year (Preferred)
