At Avidan, we are looking for an Esthetician with responsibilities that include providing relaxation services like facial massages to clients who want a pampered look, or helping them feel better about their appearance by applying carefully selected creams to ensure the health of their patient's skin.

Salary is negotiable based on skills/experience. Ultimately, you will work directly with patients looking to improve the health of their skin and assess their specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide waxing, facials, body treatments, and makeup applications.
• Adhere to appointments promptly by monitoring the schedule.
• Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner.
• Accompany clients to and from treatment rooms and thank them on departure.
• Interview clients to obtain information about contraindications.
• Examine the client's skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments.
• Advise clients on skincare.
• Recommend suitable treatments and home care regimens.
• Engage with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests.
• Be on time for shifts and client appointments.
• Provide consistent services and treatments in accordance with state laws and salon protocols.
• Support the needs of the salon/spa.
• Ensure the proper care of salon/spa equipment.
• Ensure safety, sterilization, and sanitation procedures are satisfied.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven work experience as an Esthetician or similar role.
• 1–2 years of experience.
• Able to work part-time with a flexible schedule, including weekends and evening hours.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to develop a plan of action for clients' care.
• Ability to communicate with staff and management to ensure the salon or spa runs smoothly and according to schedules.
• Ability to make a client feel comfortable.
• Deep knowledge of skin care techniques.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent with a valid Esthetician's license.
