Licensed Esthetician at MB Skincare Salon

We are an established, results-driven skincare salon specializing in personalized facial treatments, advanced skincare modalities, and professional skincare. Every treatment is approached individually—we assess the skin, listen to the client's concerns, and customize each facial according to what their skin needs at that time.

We are looking for someone who views esthetics as a career, not simply a job — someone who is naturally curious about skin, enjoys connecting with clients, and is genuinely excited to continue learning and developing their skills.

Our ideal candidate:

• Holds a current Connecticut Esthetician License
• Has a strong foundation in professional esthetics and facial treatments
• Is genuinely passionate about skincare and skin health
• Has a warm, friendly, and welcoming personality
• Loves working with people and building genuine, long-term client relationships
• Is curious about ingredients, products, skin conditions, and treatment techniques
• Is interested in advanced skincare modalities and continuing education
• Is comfortable with or willing to strengthen consultation and extraction skills
• Understands the importance of home care in achieving and maintaining results
• Is comfortable educating clients and recommending appropriate products without high-pressure selling
• Is self-motivated and takes initiative
• Is receptive to feedback and excited to improve
• Is dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and professionalism
• Brings positive energy and works well within a small team

Professional experience is preferred, but we are equally interested in finding the right person with a strong foundation, great personality, and genuine desire to grow.

What You'll Do

• Perform personalized facial treatments based on each client's skin and goals
• Conduct thorough consultations and skin assessments
• Perform extractions and other appropriate esthetic techniques
• Create thoughtful treatment and home-care recommendations
• Educate clients about their skin and professional skincare
• Recommend retail products when appropriate
• Maintain detailed client notes and treatment records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment
• Build strong relationships with clients and encourage appropriate rebooking
• Participate in product education, treatment training, and continued professional development
• Work collaboratively with the MB Skincare team to provide an exceptional client experience

Compensation

Commission-based

• Service commission starting at 25%, with opportunity for growth
• 10% commission on retail product sales
• 100% of gratuities

Commission growth may be based on factors such as client retention, rebooking, retail performance, professional development, continued education, and overall contribution to the salon.

Schedule

Part-time | Approximately 15–25 hours per week

Some Saturday and/or evening availability is preferred. Hours may increase as clientele and demand grow.
