Licensed Esthetician

Responsibilities

• Provide professional skincare services including facials, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and hair threading with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin types, concerns, and desired outcomes, offering tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Manage medical records accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, documenting treatments and client progress diligently.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and post-treatment care to promote ongoing skin health.
• Assist in retail sales by recommending suitable skincare products and makeup applications that meet individual client needs.
• Stay updated on industry trends such as color theory, new esthetic techniques, and advances in laser technology to continually enhance service offerings.

Requirements

• Valid CT state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with active certification in cosmetology or esthetician practices.
• Proven experience in providing diverse skincare treatments including dermabrasion, laser therapy, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and hair threading.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols and infection control procedures to ensure client safety at all times.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate record keeping and appointment management.
• Ability to perform detailed makeup applications and understand color theory principles for enhanced client results.
• Knowledge of tattooing and/or microblading procedures is a plus but not required; willingness to learn new techniques is essential.
