Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hairdressing, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We are looking ideally for someone with experience in hairdressing, but we would be willing to train the right candidate. You will be expected to perform services such as hair cutting, hair coloring, and hair extension services. We offer hands-on training, flexible schedules, complimentary snacks and drinks for clients, yearly branding shoots, and 24/7 salon access. In addition, we are offering a sign-on bonus after 90 days for new employees - $500 for part-time workers and $1000 for full-time!

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, hair extension and styling services tailored to individual client needs.
• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend appropriate services or products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist our receptionist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
• Promote retail products and services to clients, utilizing effective sales techniques.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in the hairdressing industry.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive salon environment and high-quality service delivery.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Hairdressing experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of hair extension application techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with retail sales practices and retail math concepts is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to continuous learning.
