Duties

• Deliver expert haircuts, styling, and grooming services tailored to children's unique needs and preferences
• Use engaging communication techniques to ensure children feel safe, comfortable, and excited during their appointment
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace adhering to all health and safety standards, including sanitation protocols for tools and stations
• Assist with retail sales of hair care products, accessories, and styling tools suitable for children and families
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using salon software such as Mangomint
• Mentor junior team members on customer service excellence, styling techniques, and sanitation practices

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in children's hair styling preferred
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with children and their families
• Experience in retail sales, upselling products, and retail math to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue
• Knowledge of sanitation standards specific to salons working with children to ensure a safe environment
• Passionate about mentoring team members and fostering a positive salon atmosphere
