Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Stylist to join our team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. This position requires strong customer service skills, a passion for hairstyling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to clients
• Stay updated on current hairstyles and trends
• Offer expert advice and recommendations on hair care products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon equipment
• Manage client appointments and maintain accurate records using salon software
• Assist with retail sales of hair care products
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and professional salon environment
• Uphold salon policies and procedures

Skills

• Strong barbering skills, including proficiency in men's grooming techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with clients
• Experience with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and handling cash transactions
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

• Cosmetology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Barbering: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification

• Cosmetology License (Required)
• Barbering License (Preferred)
