As a Master Stylist, you will lead by example, delivering top-tier hair styling, coloring, and grooming services while mentoring junior team members. Duties

• Provide expert hair styling, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client's preferences and features.
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to sanitation protocols for tools, stations, and work areas.
• Offer personalized consultations on color theory, hair care routines, and styling techniques to educate clients effectively.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and upselling retail products.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions confidently.
• Support store management with inventory oversight, retail math calculations for upselling opportunities, and achieving sales goals.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of salon services and sanitation practices.
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring (including color theory), hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care.
• Skilled in the use of salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.
• Expertise in retail sales techniques including upselling and product recommendations to enhance client experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor team members effectively.
• Knowledge of store management principles including inventory control and retail math calculations.
• Ability to perform hair threading, makeup application, straight razor shaves, and other grooming services with precision.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach that fosters client loyalty.
• Commitment to sanitation standards ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff alike.
