Currently looking for highly skilled barbers at VIP Style Barber Shop. Our contact number is 718-822-2226 and our address is 3801 East Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465. It is an upscale barbershop with 14 chairs and 16 4K televisions.

Each station has a custom built 22" screen and air compression hoses. We sell barber products, have a hot towel machine, central AC and heat, bright lights in the shop, and a state of the art sound system. If you want to make money, this is the spot. We are seeking a talented and professional barber to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and grooming, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment. Duties

• Perform classic and modern haircutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
• Provide specialized services such as straight razor shaves, hair extensions, and hair threading
• Apply color theory principles for coloring services and recommend suitable treatments
• Offer additional beauty services including eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care as needed
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations
• Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms
• Engage in retail sales by recommending hair products, retail math skills, and upselling techniques
• Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and welcoming clients
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster a collaborative team environment
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to enhance service quality

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology or Barbering license with proven experience in hair styling and grooming services
• Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY or equivalent management tools
• Knowledge of color theory, sanitation standards, and advanced barbering techniques including straight razor shaves
• Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care is preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to perform retail sales and upselling to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Store management experience or mentoring skills are a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and sanitation standards
