• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Utilize salon management software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage retail sales efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs, offering expert advice on hair care products, and upselling retail items.
• Communicate clearly with clients about service options, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations.
• Mentor junior team members and assist with front desk duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong background in barbering and hairstyling.
• Proficiency with salon software like MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Expertise in hair coloring techniques and color theory to achieve desired results.
• Skilled in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading for diverse client needs.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
