• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, color theory applications, and product recommendations to enhance client satisfaction.
• Manage appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY to optimize scheduling and client flow.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to all sanitation protocols for tools, equipment, and workstations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by listening attentively to client needs, offering personalized solutions, and upselling retail products effectively.
• Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing check-ins/outs, and handling retail sales with enthusiasm.
• Mentor junior staff members in technical skills like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair styling techniques.
• Support store management in daily operations including inventory management, retail math calculations, and promotional activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering with proficiency in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care.
• Strong knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Skilled in color theory principles and advanced haircutting techniques including the use of straight razors.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members effectively.
• Demonstrated expertise in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Ability to perform retail sales through upselling products like styling tools or skincare items confidently.
• Experience mentoring or training team members in various beauty services is preferred.
