• Perform a variety of hair services including coloring, styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care with precision and creativity
• Conduct consultations to understand clients' preferences and recommend suitable treatments or products based on color theory and hair type
• Operate salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail transactions
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients at the front desk, managing inquiries, and upselling retail products like hair tools, skincare, or makeup items
• Mentor junior team members in hair threading, barbering techniques, or makeup application to foster skill development
• Manage store operations efficiently by overseeing retail sales, inventory management, and store cleanliness

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of hair extensions, coloring techniques based on color theory, and hair styling trends
• Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
• Skilled in sanitation practices adhering to industry standards to ensure a safe salon environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients and collaborate with team members
• Experience in retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities
• Expertise in barbering skills such as straight razor shaves or haircutting techniques
• Ability to perform specialized services like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading
• Knowledge of store management principles including inventory control and front desk operations
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members in cosmetology or barbering disciplines
