Aesthetician Assistant / Aesthetician in Training

This is a development-focused position designed for someone who wants to build their skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a full-time Aesthetician role with our company.

The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for skincare, beauty, and client care and is eager to learn our company's standards, techniques, and service protocols. You will begin by assisting our team, supporting daily operations, preparing treatment areas, and developing your technical and client-service skills through training and mentorship.

As your training, proficiency, and qualifications progress, you will have the opportunity to transition into providing services and building your own clientele as an Aesthetician with our company.

Services & Areas of Training

Depending on licensing, qualifications, training, and demonstrated proficiency, areas may include:

• Customized facials and skincare treatments
• Lash extensions
• Lash lifts and tints
• Brow shaping, tinting, and brow lamination
• Airbrush/spray tanning
• Body waxing
• Skincare consultations and product recommendations
• Additional aesthetic and beauty services offered by our company

Duties

• Perform a wide range of aesthetic treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and eyelash extensions to meet individual client needs.
• Provide spa services such as body waxing, facial massage, deep tissue massage, and makeup application to enhance clients' appearance and relaxation.
• Administer esthetic laser treatments safely and effectively, ensuring client comfort and optimal results.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to support their ongoing skin health.
• Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards by properly sterilizing equipment and adhering to health regulations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and consultations to inform clients about available treatments and retail products.
• Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication, active listening, and personalized attention that fosters client loyalty.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Aesthetician.
• Proven experience in performing facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, waxing services (including body waxing), eyelash extensions, and other aesthetic procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively about treatments and products.
• Demonstrated commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols in all aesthetic procedures.
• Ability to promote retail sales through product demos and client engagement while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Experience with makeup application and other aesthetic treatments is a plus.
