Duties

• Provide expert barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling tailored to each client's preferences.
• Perform advanced grooming techniques such as straight razor shaves and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
• Apply color theory principles for hair coloring and styling, ensuring vibrant results that meet client expectations.
• Manage salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail transactions.
• Offer personalized consultations on hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care to elevate the client experience.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to health regulations.
• Assist with store management duties including front desk responsibilities, mentoring new team members, and supporting retail sales initiatives through upselling and retail math strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional barber with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse skills in hair styling and grooming.
• Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering from an accredited program; additional training in eyelash extensions, hair extensions, or makeup application is a plus.
• Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for booking and client management.
• Deep understanding of color theory and advanced haircutting techniques including straight razor shaves.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to perform retail sales through upselling products like hair care items, nail care products, and styling accessories while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Strong organizational skills with experience in store management tasks such as front desk operations and mentoring junior staff members.
