Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, highlights, balayage, and hair extensions with precision and creativity
Consult with clients to understand their vision and recommend suitable styles and treatments based on hair type, face shape, and personal preferences
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and following health regulations to ensure client safety
Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently
Upsell retail products such as hair care essentials, makeup items, and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue

Experience

Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques
Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or equivalent for appointment management and retail tracking
Expertise in color theory for creating customized color solutions that complement individual features
Familiarity with sanitation protocols and store management practices to ensure a safe and organized environment
Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and providing personalized recommendations
Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
