Job Description

Booth rent position available at Salon 417. $300 per month in a three chair salon. Seeking a talented and energetic Licensed Cosmetologist!

Deliver exceptional grooming and styling services to clients. As a licensed professional, you will utilize your expertise in barbering, hair care, and customer service to create a welcoming environment where clients can relax and enjoy personalized treatments. Located on Olean-Portville Road, also known as Interstate 417, the salon was fully renovated in 2025 and is equipped with a beverage fridge, bathroom, desk area, shampoo sink, and three luxury styling chairs. Access to a finished basement with a sitting room and TV treatment room as well.

Duties

Provide professional cosmetology or barbering services including haircutting, shaving, beard trimming, and styling using straight razors and other tools.
Perform hair coloring, hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application to meet client preferences.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all work areas, adhering to state licensing requirements.
Offer expert advice on hair care, product recommendations, and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized consultations, and ensure a positive experience.

Skills

Valid cosmetology license with current certification.
Skilled in grooming services as well as finished styling, hair color, and facial waxing.
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to maintain sanitation standards rigorously while managing multiple clients efficiently.
Store management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the salon environment.
