Responsibilities

Perform professional hair coloring, cutting, styling, and finishing services tailored to client preferences
Apply advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
Provide expert consultations on color theory, hair care routines, and product recommendations
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas in compliance with health regulations
Manage retail sales effectively through upselling techniques and retail math skills to enhance client experience and salon revenue
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and managing client flow
Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling, barbering, makeup application, and nail care
Stay current with industry trends to offer innovative services and maintain a competitive edge in the market

Skills

Proficiency in hair coloring techniques including balayage, highlights, and creative color applications based on color theory principles
Experience with hair extensions installation and removal; knowledge of eyelash extensions and nail care is a plus
Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations
Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY; experience with store management is advantageous
Skilled in hair styling for various occasions using professional tools like straight razors and curling irons
Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Ability to perform makeup applications suitable for different events or photo shoots
Retail sales expertise with upselling abilities
