We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients.

Duties

Perform haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and other grooming services using various techniques including straight razor.
Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences, offering expert advice on styles and products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
Engage in upselling of products and services to enhance the client experience while contributing to salon revenue.
Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling retail transactions using retail math skills.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters creativity and teamwork.

Qualifications

Valid barbering license or certification in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in various barbering techniques including color theory, makeup application, and store management is preferred.
Experience with salon software systems is a plus; familiarity with MINDBODY is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality services consistently.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
Minimum 2 years of experience in barbering, hair styling, and straight razor techniques (Required).
Barbering License (Required).
