Responsibilities

Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care.
Apply advanced techniques such as color theory for custom nail designs and intricate nail art to meet client preferences.
Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable treatments like nail enhancements or body waxing based on client needs.
Upsell retail products such as nail care kits, polishes, or skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
Assist clients with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, esthetic laser treatments, or hair styling when qualified.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail design, color application, and industry best practices through ongoing education.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology.
Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art design.
Familiarity with color theory principles to create visually appealing nail designs.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to promote products effectively.
Additional skills such as hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, or barbering are a plus but not required.
