Duties

Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing to meet each client's unique preferences.
Apply hair extensions, or be willing to learn and get extension certified.
Utilize salon software such as Vagaro for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking.
Offer expert advice on color theory and hair care routines to ensure healthy results and client satisfaction.
Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients and managing bookings.
Mentor junior team members in hair styling techniques, customer service excellence, and salon procedures to foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques.
Strong understanding of color theory, sanitation practices, and store management principles.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
Ability to perform retail math for upselling products confidently while delivering exceptional customer service.
