You've been applying to jobs and hearing nothing back. A lot of those roles were quietly filtering you out before anyone read a word: wrong years of experience, wrong location, wrong assumptions about what you do.

Profiles flip that. You're not sending your resume into a void anymore. You build one profile, and salons that already think you look like a fit will come to you.

Here's how it works:

1. You fill out your profile once: what you do, where you are in your career, and what you’re looking for. 
2. We surface you to salon owners who are looking for exactly that. Not the whole internet. Only businesses that have already seen your profile and think you're a strong match.
3. You only hear from salons that are genuinely interested.

This is all on your terms. You can keep your profile private, or mark yourself as not currently looking. Whenever you’re ready, we’ll work quietly in the background until the right thing comes along.

We've got some backup

Big news on our end: SalonJobs is now backed by Mangomint, the booking and management software a lot of the salons you're applying to already run on. Nothing about your experience changes: same profiles, same job listings, same tools.

What it does mean: we have more resources to build the features that actually help you, faster. Mangomint gets salon operations, we get hiring. It’s a natural pairing! If you've ever booked a client through Mangomint or seen it at the front desk of a salon you love, you know their reputation.

Resume vs. profile: what's the difference?

Short answer: they're not the same, and you need both.

Your resume is static. It's the document a hiring manager skims in 20 seconds to check your experience, license, and training. It’s often necessary, but it doesn't change based on who's looking. 

Your SalonJobs profile is different. It's where your personality, portfolio, and specialties get seen, and it's what gets you matched with salons before you apply. You can share the link anywhere, use it like a LinkedIn, send it to salons directly. It works even when you're not actively looking.

You want both in the room for you.
