Duties

• Perform body waxing services with precision and care, ensuring client comfort and safety throughout each treatment
• Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards, including proper sterilization of tools and workspaces
• Educate clients on post-wax care, product recommendations, and answer any questions they may have about the procedure
• Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms to optimize client flow
• Promote additional services like eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, or skin treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Keep detailed records of treatments performed, client preferences, and health history in compliance with industry regulations
• Uphold a welcoming atmosphere by delivering excellent customer service and building lasting client relationships

Skills

• Valid cosmetology license with specialized training in body waxing techniques
• Proven experience as a waxing technician in a professional setting
• Knowledge of esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, and other advanced skincare procedures is a plus
• Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar systems for appointment booking and client management
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients
• Expertise in additional beauty services including makeup application, nail care, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and barbering is desirable
• Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment at all times

Compensation & Work Location

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
