Working with clients and develop a team of dedicated hair color experts who keep our customers’ hair looking fabulous. This position is critical in bringing our message, products and delightful customer experience to the next chapter of the Madison Reed vision, our NYC Color Bar. You are comfortable in a fast changing environment, love hair color, helping people and making clients feel right at home. You can operate in a fun and fast-paced team, and move with ease as you greet clients AND manage a daily schedule. You are: ● An expert in your knowledge of color. Ready to embrace and guide customers through Madison Reed’s innovative color portfolio ● Passionate about hair color and take pride in delighting our customers with an incredible hair experience. -Perform and assist in color consultations and corrections - Perform color corrections as needed and the ability to resolve client escalations with ease ● A coach, inspiring others to achieve and exceed business and personal performance goals ● Someone who enjoys training, mentoring and developing our team of Colorists to deliver an in-store experience that creates passionate Madison Reed ambassadors ● A thought leader, excited to co-create and bring the Madison Reed training program (product, services, culture and values) to life ● Proficient in using technology in your everyday life and enthusiastic about innovation ● Willing to roll up your sleeves to support your team and our clients REQUIREMENTS: Cosmetology license Fluent in multiple hair color product lines and color theory Minimum 2+ year experience in hair coloring Experience in a fast paced service environment Proven track record of consistently delivering remarkable customer service + Previous experience in salon education is a plus + Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team a plus Position Located: in the Flatiron, NYC
